Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Arguably one of the most underrated players in NHL history, Marcel Dionne finished his career with a more than impressive 1771 points in 1348 games played. Dionne was also the third man to reach the 700 goal plateau. This Canadien stick was used by the Hall of Famer in 1985-86, and it’s been team-signed by 26. “Dionne” is stamped-on, with the stick retaining its tape on the blade and knob. Tape has been added along the shaft to procure the signatures, with “To the Reduers Hotel/Fred Hoff/Best Wishes from the L.A. Kings” written across the blade. Signers include Dionne, Nicholls, Taylor, Williams, Sykes, Paterson, Ledyard, Redmond, Lukowich, Wilks, Hakansson, McKenna, Janecyk and others.
