HOF goalie Ed Belfour played his 500th NHL regular season game early in his second season in Dallas in 1998-99 when the Stars went on to win the Stanley Cup! Eddie the Eagle was gifted this fabulous Tiffany & Co clock from the NHLPA to commemorate his milestone game. This polished wood lidded box measures 4” x 4” and stands just under 3 inches high. “500 Games, Friday, November 13, 1998, Dallas Stars vs. Detroit Red Wings, Ed Belfour, NHLPA” is engraved on the gold-colored plaque set inside the lid of the cover. Belfour stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Stars’ 5-1 win at Joe Louis Arena. Comes with its original Tiffany & Co. box and Ed Belfour’s signed LOA.
Gold colored battery-operated clock set inside the box with Tiffany & Co. on its white face with black roman numerals swivels upwards for display when opened. There is some oxidation on the inside of the back case behind the clock from the battery leaking.
