Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Hailing from the 2001 NHL Playoffs, we have Doug Gilmour’s stick used with Buffalo as they advanced to the Conference Semi-Finals, losing to Pittsburgh in seven games. “93 Gilmour” factory graphics are present on the upper shaft, with the Easton stick retaining its original tape on the blade and handle/knob. Nice use is exhibited, with wear to the taped section of blade along with marks and abrasions to the lower shaft. Gilmour has added a thin silver paint pen signature across the blade tape, and it presents well. A notation of "...round #2 G-2" is also present on the underside. Gilmour had 6 points in the 13 Playoff games Buffalo participated in that season.
