Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Hailing from the turn of the 21st century, we have a Chicago Black Hawks jersey worn by goaltender Rob Tallas in 2000-01. Tallas would only play in 12 total games for the Hawks, all in 2000-01. “Goalie Style” tagging sits on the collar along with a “58” size tag, with embroidered NHL and KOHO patches on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Featuring the iconic Sauk Chief Black Hawk logo, the jersey has been styled with tackle twill numbers along with matching chain-stitched tomahawk crests over both shoulders. An inventory sticker has been affixed to the inner section near the fight strap, while a number “1” has been handwritten in marker on the back of the NHL crest. This garment also sports the Black Hawks 75th anniversary patch over the right breast. Game-wear on this “1st Set” example includes a few random marks along with team repairs below the front neckline and on the upper left sleeve near the number. A copy of an LOA will be included.
