Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Equipped with raw talent and physical prowess, Bob Probert had the unusual ability to both thrash opponents and put the puck in the net. Sadly, the NHL star passed in 2010 from a heart attack. We have an offered stick that was used by Probert in the late-1990’s while with Chicago, and it’s been signed. A KOHO Revolution model, “Probert” appears stamped on the upper shaft along with handwritten “24”, with the stick retaining its original tape on the blade and ribbed-style on the handle/knob. Nice use is exhibited, with wear to the blade along with a few marks on the lower shaft. Probert has signed across the front side of the blade in blue marker, and the signature displays beautifully.
