Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Saying his final farewell at the conclusion of the Winnipeg Jets last home game of the 2015-16 NHL season, linesman Brad Lazarowich officiated over 2,000 NHL contests, with highlights to include three Stanley Cup finals, as well as two World Cup of Hockey tournaments, the 2014 Heritage Classic and a Memorial Cup. This linesman’s jersey was worn by Lazarowich circa late-1980s. Featuring the familiar black and white vertical stripes, “Bruce Hood Referee Jersey” labeling from Tease Knitting is affixed to the collar, along with a laundering tag. Styled with a fully embroidered NHL shield crest over the left breast, the full-collared pull-over also sports “Lazarowich” in single white till over the affixed black nameplate. Showing nice use with a hole over the right breast and no obtrusive marks, the jersey remains in excellent condition. Not offered regularly, vintage linesman’s jerseys make stunning display pieces.
