Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Awesome wool treasure is Hall of Famer Hector “Toe” Blake’s circa 1952-53 Montreal NHL Old-Timers game-worn jersey. “Raymond Hardware” tagging in the collar is the same tagging as a 1952-53 Dickie Moore photo-matched jersey we sold. Blake’s familiar No. 6 is sewn on the back in white on black double-felt. "Montreal N.H.L." lettering is on a twill-like material sewn on the front with "Old Timers" spelled out below it in sewn-on individual black felt letters. There are two team repairs on the front and more game wear includes faint black marks on the white stripe on the left sleeve, on the right shoulder yoke and low on the right sleeve. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
This vintage game-worn wool jersey measures out to approximately size 48. There are unrepaired holes on the sleeves and front tail that do not diminish its display.
