Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Originally drafted by Anaheim in 2002, Joffrey Lupul was involved in a trade with Toronto in 2011 that included François Beauchemin going to Anaheim. This Toronto Maple Leafs “Set 3” jersey was game-worn by Lupul in 2014-15. With the correct size tagging affixed to the collar, there are also NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a gorgeous and classic team crest along with tackle twill numbers and name-on-nameplate, there are also matching vintage-style maple leafs that sit over both shoulders. Visible game-use includes 4 tears between the striping bands on the left sleeve, there is also some loose threading on the bottom of the team crest mentioned strictly for accuracy, and we should note that the team patch is on the inside hem. Also included in this lot is a pair of Leafs game-used socks from an unidentified player. Made by Reebok, each sock shows good use, with 9 repairs on one, and 5 on the other. The jersey’s original point of sale tag from the Leafs team store is included, along with team COA’s for both the jersey and socks.
