Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Originally a product of the Moose Jaw Warriors, Morgan Rielly was selected fifth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. This “Set 1” Maple Leafs third jersey was worn by Rielly in 2014-15, and includes a pair of Leafs game-worn socks along with team COAs for both items. The collar retains its size tagging, with NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a gorgeous felt team crest with embroidered lettering, the garment has been accented with felt numbers and name-on-nameplate as well. Visible game-use includes board burns on both sleeves around the elbows, with additional dark marks on the right sleeve’s white striping bands.
We should note that the original price tag from the team store is included. The game-worn socks used by the team during the season were produced by Reebok, and they show heavy use, with marks present along with an amazing 38 team repairs between the pair! The jersey’s team patch numbered E-0032 sits on the inside hem, and it will be accompanied by a matching COA from the Maple Leafs organization.
