Currently the Special Assistant to Red Wings GM Ken Holland, four-time Stanley Cup Champion Kris Draper was also part of the “Grind Line” in Detroit. This jersey was worn by Draper in 1997-98. With Center Ice and Nike size tagging in collar, there is also embroidered Nike and NHL-shield logos on the custom-shortened hem. Styled with attractive tackle twill numbers and letters, the back name has been affixed directly onto the sweater. The garment also features the important “Believe” patch for Vladimir Konstantinov and Sergei Mnatsakanov over the right breast. The team stamp sits on the inside hem, and it divulges that this sweater is a “1st Set” example.
Use is heavy on the jersey, with numerous marks scattered throughout including board burns. There are also 16 team repairs spread evenly over both sleeves, and 2 large stains, with one on the front, the other on the reverse.
