Since returning to the NHL, Winnipeg supporters have proven themselves to be some of the most rabid fans in the league, and this Jets offering will surely evoke some spirited bidding. We have a Winnipeg Jets jersey worn by Jacob Trouba in 2013-14 photo-matched, along with a game-worn helmet and gloves. With size 56 tagging in the collar, this rookie season jersey also has embroidered Reebok and NHL patches on the front and back neckline. A Jets store hang tag is also still attached, and it divulges that this garment originally sold for $3500.00. Game-wear includes board burns on the lower front and both sleeves, along with three team repairs, with two on the right sleeve, one on the left.
As mentioned, this sweater has been photo-matched. Getty image #479552981 from March 6th 2014 has been matched to the 4 loose threads on the number #8 on the left sleeve. We should also note that the Jets team patch remains affixed to the inside hem, and the team’s inventory bar code has been placed above the fight strap, and it includes handwritten initials. The helmet is a Bauer model, with full interior padding, visor and strapping present. With Jets decals on each side, the helmet still has the Jets Store point-of-sale tag attached, with the helmet costing $500.00. With good use showing, the helmet was used in 2014-15. Lastly, we have a pair of Sher-Wood gloves. With “Trouba” embroidered on each over the wrist guard, the gloves show good use, with holes present around the thumb section, along with blue paint transfer on the palm of the left glove. LOA’s from the Jets organization will accompany all three pieces, and according to the particulars listed, this Trouba jersey was worn between Jan 7th and April 10th 2014.
