Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The current high bids for the cumulative group of sublots, $1,200.00, is currently higher than the total for the set, $0.00 (this lot is currently winning)
The Group 2 Bee Hive bonanza continues with a "four white borders" variation of the Prince of Wales Trophy, awarded to the NHL's regular season first place finisher during the "Original Six" era and then the top point-getting team in the Eastern Division and Wales/Eastern Conference, before becoming the playoff prize to the team winning the Eastern Conference and advancing to the Stanley Cup final. Enough for the history, how about the condition of the photo, eh? Like other scarcities and rarities, it has been preserved in nice collectible condition, with an appealing crease-free photo joined by a backing that has light corner/edge wear and a small (less than an inch) crease in the upper right corner. For those wishing to cross off another toughie on a Group 2 wantlist.
