Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
An instant collection! This lot contains 9 sticks game-used by former Los Angeles Kings, including a rookie-era KOHO used by Luc Robitaille. We should note that it’s possible that a few of the sticks might not have been used while playing for LA. Featured are examples from Robitaille (2), Dionne, Carson, Nicholls, Taylor, Duchesne, Simmer and Craig Redmond. We have KOHO, Titan, Sher-Wood and Canadien models, with all sticks retaining their original tape jobs on the blades and shafts. Four of the sticks have date stamps, including Taylor (10 Dec 1981) and Simmer (5 Nov 1982), with the date stamps on the second Robitaille stick and the Duchesne model illegible. All sticks show moderate to heavy use, with wear to the taped blades and shafts, including the Duchesne, which has a cracked and taped shaft. The Dionne Canadien stick has been signed by the Hall of Famer across the blade in ballpoint.
