This lot contains three game-used goal sticks from Ray Emery, Rick DiPietro and Manny Legace.
1 – KOHO 500 model goal stick game-used by Ray Emery circa 2002-03 where he spent the season in Binghamton, but played 3 games for Ottawa. With the original tape on the blade and knob and with gauze-style black tape on the upper shaft, “R. Emery” is stamped halfway down. Good game-use is present with a number of puck marks to the taped section of blade as well as marks and abrasions to the paddle. A factory date code of 17 Dec 2002 has also been stamped to the underside of the handle.
2 – KOHO 500 model goal stick game-used by Rick DiPietro as a rookie with the Islanders circa 2000-01, where he also spent time in the IHL. In Islanders colours, the stick has the original tape on the blade and knob with gauze-style tape on the upper shaft. “DiPietro #29” has been stamped onto the shaft, with a factory date code of “20 Oct 2000” on the underside of the handle. Game-use is visible with wear to the bottom of the taped section of blade, and to a few dark marks on the front-side. Rick has signed the stick in blue sharpie across the blade, with some slight fading and wear to the signature.
3 – Sher-Wood SOP 9950 model goal stick game-used by Manny Legace in the mid-2000s while with the Red Wings. With Manny’s original black tape on the blade and white on the knob, “Legace” appears on the upper shaft in factory graphics. With just light game-use to mention including some wear to the taped section of blade, and to a few marks on the paddle and shaft including a tiny crack just above the handle.
