Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Worn for just a single game by Jeff Petry on December 27th 2014, this jersey was then sold in a charity auction with proceeds going to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. With size tagging in the collar, there’s also additional Reebok and NHL patches on the front and back necklines. Fully accented with tackle twill adornments including crest, dual-colour numbers and name-on-nameplate, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. With no visible game-wear other than a few tiny board burns on the right sleeve, Petry has signed the garment in the middle of the back “2” in silver sharpie, and the signature projects well off the dark background. A MeiGray patch on the inner hem is numbered L02179, and there’s also a team patch listing the garment’s particulars. An LOA from the Edmonton Oilers organization will accompany.
