Swedish center Mats Lindh’s fantastic 1975-76 WHA Winnipeg Jets game-worn playoffs jersey features the “Montreal 1976” patches on both shoulders. The Jets wore the Olympic patches through the second half of the season, including the playoffs, which they ripped through by winning 12 of 13 games to claim their first Avco Cup title. Lindh had four points while playing each of the Jets’ playoff games. Great details on the fantastic Jets crest sewn on the front of his No. 19 white mesh playoff game-worn jersey, which has a garter-style fight strap. Harv-Al tagging in the back of the neck has a size L flag tag at the bottom. Game wear includes a team repair with a patch on the right sleeve, board burns with red paint transfer on the left sleeve, and black marks on the front and tail.
Jets crest features cable-knit stitching for the jet, which is in blue thread on a sewn-on round red twill backing, the team name in white, and “Winnipeg” in red, on blue and red knit circles. “Lindh” is heat-screened on a sewn-on white knit nameplate.
More game wear includes black marks near the left and right cuffs, the front left shoulder, left upper back and top rear of the left sleeve, an unrepaired burn hole below the team repair, and sweat stains under the arms.
