Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
A prosperous time in Beantown hockey, the Bruins were able to advance twice to the Stanley Cup Finals in just three years between 2011 and 2013. This Boston Bruins jersey was worn by Daniel Paille throughout games 3 and 4 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals. With CCM size tagging in the collar including handwritten “20”, there’s also an additional Reebok patch on the back neckline. Styled in multi-coloured tackle twill including numbers and name on nameplate, there are also matching Bruin patches over each shoulder, and the important Stanley Cup Finals patch over the right breast. A tag from MeiGray Group on the inside hem is numbered JH00424, and a matching LOA from the Bruins organization will accompany.
Worn for only a pair of games in the Stanley Cup Finals, visible game-use includes just a few board burns with a small resulting hole present on the right sleeve. We should also note that the intact fight strap has a handwritten notation of “1”.
