A journeyman for two decades in the NHL as well as the Swedish, Swiss and Finnish leagues, Janne Niinimaa was also a bronze medal winner with Finland at the 1998 Winter Olympics. This Edmonton Oilers jersey was game-worn by Niinimaa in 1998-99. With Elite, CCM and “58” size tagging in the collar, there’s also additional embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the bottom hem. Beautifully styled with tackle twill numbers and name on nameplate, the jersey also features matching oil rig patches over both shoulders and the team patch on the inside hem. A ton of great game-use resides on this jersey including black marks and board burns on both sleeves, as well as 9 team repairs, with 3 on the right sleeve, 6 on the left. There are also a few unrepaired holes present on the left sleeve. A COR from MeiGray will come with this attractive jersey, as well as an LOA from the Oilers organization that states that this garment is a "Blue Set 1" example.
