Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016

Arguably considered one of the best players to ever lace up the skates, there’s no telling what kind of career numbers Mario Lemieux could have finished with had he stayed healthy for the length of it. This KOHO Revolution stick was used by Mario at a time when he was putting up some amazing numbers in the early-to-mid-1990s. With the original black tape on the blade and shaft, “Lemieux” is stamped on the upper shaft, with a factory code of “829 5” on the lower section. Game-use includes some marks on the lower shaft, as well as wear to the taped section of blade in the center. Lemieux has added a black marker signature including his number to the lower shaft, and it projects well.
