A tournament sought to establish a true world champion regardless of professional or amateur status, the Canada Cup was held on five different occasions from 1976 to 1991. This lot contains 26 items that celebrate Team Canada and the tournament. Included is a clock that was given to players at the 1984 Canada Cup, at roughly 7” x 7”, it’s made of Precambrian shield and has a faded 1984 Canada Cup sticker. There’s 15 Canada Cup posters from assorted years, ranging in size from 20” x 26” up to 22” x 32”, with 7 of the posters mounted to board, as well as a 1987 Canada Cup collector plate, limited to 15,000 copies. The plate comes with a special frame for the plate and added plaque that measures just under 12” x 17”, and it’s numbered 460/15000. We also have a small glass “Hockey Canada” paperweight, two matching 6” x 10” 1991 Canada Cup banners, 4 Canada Cup pens in their original cases, and lastly, an 8 ½” x 9” custom photo album from Canada Cup ’84 that contains 24 tournament photos, and it remains in gorgeous condition.
