Extremely desirable Team Canada 2002 Olympic Gold Medalists 10-karat gold and diamond rings like this are the ones that were presented to Lemieux, Gretzky and the players, executives and staff who led Canada to glory for the first time in 50 years in Salt Lake City. This spectacular bauble presented to head equipment manager Barrie Stafford weighs approximately 37 grams and features 32 real diamonds, 28 of which are set within the raised gold Olympic rings crowned with the three points of a maple leaf resting on a red precious stone. “Gold Medalist 2002 Olympics” is spelled out around the bezel with a pair of diamonds on either side of the Salt Lake Olympic logo on the left, and two more with the Hockey Canada logo on the right. "IGO 10K" and "Let the spirit prevail" are stamped inside the size 12 1/2 band. Comes in its original presentation box with Barrie Stafford’s signed LOA.
This highly-coveted Team Canada 2002 Olympic Gold Medalists ring is magnificently preserved with near-pristine details and very light surface scratches and marks to the back of the band.

The “Canada 5 vs. USA 2” result of the gold medal final on the right shank sits atop the Salt Lake logo, a globe and crossed hockey sticks, with “Spirit Prevails” at the bottom.
The wood presentation box measures 4 1/2" x 2 3/8” and stands about 2 1/8” tall. “Barrie Stafford, Gold Medalist, 2002 Olympics, Mens Hockey” reads the gold colored plaque inside the box with a black velvet bed for this precious ring to rest in. “Product of Canada” clear plastic sticker is affixed to the bottom.
