The 1987 Canada Cup saw Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux join forces to lead Team Canada past a powerhouse Soviet Union squad. The Great One set up Super Mario for the winning goal in the deciding game of the best-of-three final, which saw each game finish 6-5, including Canada's double OT win in Game 2. This magnificent 1987 Canada Cup 10-karat gold ring presented to Team Canada head equipment manager Barrie Stafford displays four real diamonds below the stylized maple leaf logo. "MacGregor" and "10K" are stamped inside the size 11 band, "1987" on the left shank and "Stafford" on the right. Wonderfully preserved with very light scratches to the band. Comes with Barrie Stafford’s signed LOA.
