The ultimate Stanley Cup dynasty. Maurice “Rocket” Richard, Jean Beliveau and Jacques Plante are among six deceased HOFers who have autographed this vintage 1959-60 Montreal Canadiens team-signed sheet. The full roster of the team that won a record fifth straight Stanley Cup is featured in the 20 big blue ink signatures on this framed team-signed vintage Habs letterhead. The late Bernie “Boom Boom” Geoffrion, Doug Harvey and Tom Johnson, and Henri Richard and Dickie Moore make it a total of eight HOFers who have signed. They are among the 12 players who have signed that were part of each of the five Cup wins from 1959-60, along Claude Provost, Jean-Guy Talbot, Bob Turner and Don Marshall.
The other members of the 1959-60 Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens who have signed are Marcel Bonin, Phil Goyette, Andre Pronovost, Ralph Backstrom, Ab McDonald, Junior Langlois, Bill Hicke and JC Tremblay.
The letterhead displays the vintage CH logo at the top with “Club de Hockey Canadien Inc.” and the Forum’s address listed below along with the names and titles of team president Hartland Molson, VP Kenny Reardon, and GM Frank Selke. It displays to a shade under 11” x 8 1/4" as mounted in a black matte in an 18” x 16” gold-colored metal frame.
