Oh, the various funky colors sure are cool to check out side by side by side on these sections from uncut 1971-72 Topps sheets. One of the 15-card affairs is in the best condition with no real unsightly flaws, just a few small wrinkles affecting the Tony Featherstone card at the far left, with Hall-of-Famers Stan Mikita and Phil Esposito above and below respectively. With minor corner wear also to mention, the eye candy also features the likes of Henri Richard, J.C. Tremblay, Unger, Berenson, Crozier, Hodge, Apps and Pappin, while leading the cast on the other 15-card job are Frank Mahovlich, Sanderson, Gilbert and Dennis Hull. Creasing, on the subtle side, affects the Sanderson, Maniago/Mahovlich and three other cards but is barely detectable at arm’s length. The 18-card panel has multiple mostly vertical creases and some nice star power, with Cournoyer, Keon, Grant, Cashman, Stapleton, Shack, Cheevers and Pete Mahovlich appearing and measurements at 10-1/2” by 15”. With fully printed backs, the nifty pieces are also fun to flip over and peruse.
