Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The 2009 NHL All-Star Game took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal and was played in conjunction with the Canadiens centennial, as the city celebrated 100 years of the Bleu Blanc Rouge. This 2009 Western Conference jersey was worn by Keith Tkachuk during the second period. With CCM size 58+ tagging in collar and additional Reebok patch over the back nameplate, an NHLPA crest also sits on the bottom hem. Date patches for each year Montreal hosted the All-Star game adorn the right sleeve, and a Montreal All-Star patch rests on the left shoulder. Tkachuk has added a thin black marker signature to the top of the back “7”, and despite its diminutive size, it presents well.
Game-wear includes just a few small marks on the right cuff, as well as some light spots of scattered staining, and a MeiGray patch numbered F02926 has been affixed to the inside hem. Originally sold to benefit the “Hockey Fights Cancer” program, an LOA from MeiGray stating this will be included.
