One of the original NHL expansion teams in 1967, the California Seals were renamed the Oakland Seals midway thru their inaugural season, finally becoming the California Golden Seals in 1970. This circa mid-1970’s California Seals team ring originates from trainer Gerry Dean. Large size 10 ½, the ring has an approximate weight of 25 grams with "Jostens 10K" stamped on the inside band. The head features a centralized Seals logo encompassed by a dark green stone surrounded by “California Seals NHL”. Both upper shanks feature an embossed generic player flanked by ivy as well as a scroll with “Trainer” in the left side scroll and “G. Dean” in the right. With no major condition issues, the ring shows normal wear from its intended use which includes tiny blemishes to the band that are only mentioned for complete disclosure as well as some possible dust accumulation. An LOA will accompany this beautiful California Seals team ring.
