Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015

A sure bet for the Hockey Hall of Fame if he ever decides to retire, Jaromir Jagr has signed his Eastern Conference All-Stars game-worn jersey from the 1996 NHL All-Star Game in Boston. This is one of five jerseys made for Jagr for the 1996 All-Star Game, one for each period of the game as well as the team photo shoot and the pregame warmup skate. Jagr placed a bold black marker dedicated autograph across the top front of the jersey, which has a size 56 flag tag in the back of the neck. A “150196” born date sticker is on the CCM laundry flag tag inside the left hip seam, and a Sports Registry barcode label is affixed inside the back of the jersey to the right of the fight strap.
The Boston 1996 NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right shoulder and the Penguins crest is sewn on the left shoulder. There are some non-game related stains on the lower left sleeve.
Jagr gave the Eastern All-Stars a 3-0 lead when he scored on Detroit’s Chris Osgood 2:07 into the second period on a goal set up by Penguins teammates Mario Lemieux and Ron Francis.
