This collection of antique hockey programs features examples seldom seen and highly desirable including an Ottawa Senators program for a match against the New York Americans from 1926, a century old fold-over program from the famous St. Nicholas Ice Rink in New York featuring St.Pauls and Yale, and a Madison Square Garden program from 1925-26 featuring a contest between teams from the EAHL.
1 – Ottawa Senators NHL program from 1926 vs the New York Americans. 8 page program from Sat. November 20th 1926 when the NY Americans visited the Ottawa Senators. In good condition with wear from handling, the 6” x 9” program includes some creasing and toning as well as some light staining. A picture of King Clancy is featured on page 6, and it’s the same image as his 1924-25 Champs Cigarettes card. A second photo of presumably another Senator has been cut out on page 3.
2 – MSG program for the Eastern Amateur Hockey League from 1925-26. The EAHL featured teams such as the Knickerbockers, Yale, St. Nicholas, and Boston AA. This 64 page program is generic in nature designed for the line-ups to be filled in. At 7” x 10” and fairly thick, the program is in very good condition with handling wear including a large crease on the cover in the top right, and a missing chunk out of the spine on the upper left. Interesting ads abound in this volume including an ad for Baby Ruth candy bars on the inside cover, as well as multiple photos of players and teams from the EAHL.
3 – St Nicholas Ice Rink program featuring a match between St. Paul's School and Yale from December 22 1914. Interesting and rarely seen 6 ½” x 8 ¾” single page fold-over program with vintage fountain pen notations to the line-up, and the final tally is also listed with a victory for Yale by a score of 6-2. In very good condition with just some light staining and wear to the front and back.
