Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Born in the late 19th century and a member of the legendary Montreal Wanderers 1910 Stanley Cup winning team, Harry Hyland also suited up for the New Westminster Royals of the PCHA in 1911-12, where he was named to the first All-Star team. Offered in this lot is a signature of the early 20th century star who passed away in 1969 at the age of 80. Fashioned in blue ballpoint, the signature is a small cut that’s been affixed to a 3” x 5” index card. With the ink still bright and vibrant and considering there are no issues with the index card itself, this signature cut will excite any true antique hockey collector or historian.
