Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Superb photos of NHL stars here originally were part of cereal boxes put out by General Mills in the last season prior to expansion, with the players giving tips on playing hockey. In swell NHL All-Star Game uniforms are Horton, Keon, Pilote, Oliver, Ullman and Hall, with the latter panel also including a strip down the left side naming the 18 players involved in the promotion – nice. In their Canadiens gear are Laperriere, JC Tremblay and Worsley, with most panels measuring approximately 6” by 9-1/4”, rather neatly cut and with the original black outline around the pictures. They display well with only a small light usually peripheral crease or two spotted on a few. Minor back damage on the Horton is to note, with the French text cut from a second Keon panel and one featuring Rousseau.
