Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
With an overtime win for the Toronto Maple Leafs at New Jersey on April 1, 2003, Ed Belfour became the seventh NHL goalie to reach 400 regular season wins. The HOF goalie used this stick during his 400th win game, which saw him make a game-saving stop on Devils forward Scott Gomez in overtime. “Belfour” is stamped on the back of the shaft of Ed’s Christian game-used stick, which retains his original tape jobs on the knob, handle and blade. "400" is handwritten on the butt end of this milestone stick that displays solid game use with wear to the bottom edge of the tape on the blade and red goalpost paint transfer. Comes with Ed Belfour's signed LOA.
