This group of game-used sticks were all employed by defencemen including Mathieu Schneider, Joni Pitkanen, Ed Jovanovski, Jack Johnson and Bryan McCabe.
– Louisville TPS Response model stick game-used by Mathieu Schneider while with Detroit circa 2005-06. With the original white tape on the blade and upper shaft including handwritten “23”, “Schneider” and “23” also appear in factory graphics on the upper shaft. Good game-use is visible with wear to the lower shaft and a number of puck marks on the taped section of blade.
– CCM Vector model stick game-used by Joni Pitkanen in 2004-05 while with the Philadelphia Phantoms. With Joni’s original tape job on the upper shaft and blade including handwritten “10”, “J. Pitkanen” has been stamped onto the upper shaft. Game-use is notable with some abrasions to the lower shaft and to wear on the bottom of the blade. Pitkanen has signed on the heel in blue marker and the signature projects off the background extremely well.
– Hespeler CS Pro model stick game-used by Ed Jovanovski with the Canucks circa 2002-03. With the original tape on the blade, and gauze-style tape on the upper shaft including handwritten “55”, “Jovanovski” appears on the upper shaft in factory graphics. Game-use is exhibited with wear along the length of the shaft, and to the bottom of the taped blade. Ed has added a nice black marker signature to the heel section, and it shows just some slight fading.
– Bauer Vapor model stick game-used by Jack Johnson in the mid-to-late-2000s with LA. Jack’s tape jobs remain on the blade and upper shaft with handwritten “3”. “J. Johnson” and “3” appear on the shaft in factory graphics, while the stick just shows light use including a few small marks on the lower section.
– Easton SE16 model stick game-used by Bryan McCabe in the early-2000s with Toronto. The original tape remains on the blade, with coil-style gauze tape on the upper and middle shaft. “McCabe” and “24” appear in factory graphics, with just light game-use notable on the middle section of the shaft and to wear on the taped section of blade. Bryan has signed the stick on the front-side heel in blue marker, and the signature is perfect.
