Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
These two goalie sticks were game-used by Miikka Kiprusoff and Evgeni Nabokov, two extremely talented European goaltenders who are now retired.
1 – Bauer Vapor model goal stick game-used by Evgeni Nabokov circa 2000’s with the San Jose Sharks. The original Sharks-green tape remains on the blade with gauze-style tape on the upper shaft and handle. “Nabokov” appears on the upper section in factory graphics, and there’s plenty of game-use to note including multiple puck marks on the blade as well as some scratches and slight warping of the paddle.
2 – Montreal Magnum model goal stick game-used by Miikka Kiprusoff circa 2000’s while with the Calgary Flames. The well-worn original tape remains on the blade and upper shaft/knob with gauze-style tape on the handle. A ton of game-use is obvious on this Finnish made stick with a plethora of puck marks on both sides of the blade as well as multiple chips/cracks to the paddle. Kiprusoff has signed on the paddle in black marker and he’s added his number.
