Originally drafted 1st overall by the Minnesota North Stars in 1988, Mike Modano would stay with the franchise for two decades, and this included leading Dallas to their first Stanley Cup win in 1999. This Easton Synergy stick was game-used by Modano circa 2001-02. With the original tape job on the blade and knob, “Modano” and “9” appear on the upper shaft in factory graphics. There’s just light game-use to note, with wear to the bottom taped section of the blade and to a few abrasions along the shaft. Modano has added a large autograph across the front-side of the blade in gold coloured sharpie, and it presents beautifully. It should be noted that this stick has had a layer of stickum applied along the length of the shaft, and it remains very sticky.
