Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
With only six seasons in their franchise’s history, quality Houston Aeros uniforms don’t surface that often. This Aeros jersey was made for Bill Prentice and was possibly worn during the pre-season in 1975-76, as he was traded before the regular season. With loose but intact Rawlings size tagging in collar, the jersey is datable by the font on the nameplate, as this style was used only during the 1975-76 season. Fashioned in tackle twill name, numbers and name on nameplate, this cream-coloured durene garment also has matching blue stars on both shoulders, and an intact garter-style fight strap.
This 1975-76 Houston Aeros jersey made for Bill Prentice has some light staining scattered on the garment’s front as well as on both sleeves around the numbers, and 2 tiny holes on the right sleeve’s cuff are also present.
