Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Classy ensemble of souvenirs is from the March 29, 2007 evening when Jean Beliveau was paid tribute for both his outstanding on and off-ice accomplishments, and it was attended by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Quebec Premier Jean Charest, Gordie Howe and others. A million dollars was raised for children’s charities, a cause close to the heart of Mr. Beliveau. A 28-page book chronicling Jean’s career, a laced-up invitation, an autographed stick blade (#624/1000) and dated puck in a neat box that’s also been signed is included, and it all comes in a sturdy gift-like bag picturing the icon. Please refer to the Classic Auctions website for other items in this lot.
Also included in this Jean Beliveau lot is a large framed photo of Beliveau with Johnny Bower. The image area is 15” x 19” and framed to total dimensions of 26” x 30”. Both have signed in blue sharpie beneath their image, and the wooden frame has no issues. From a special celebration of an extraordinary life!
