Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Known for being stingy when it comes to giving up goals, Jeff Schultz led the league in 2009-10 with a +50 plus/minus score, and he set an NHL record with 119 minutes played without allowing a goal in the 2011 playoffs. This Reebok Washington Capitals jersey was game-worn by Schultz in the 2010-11 playoffs. With size 58+ tagging in the collar and Reebok crest on the back upper neckline, an additional Reebok laundry tag remains affixed to the inside seam. Just light game-use is notable with a few small board burns and black marks on both sleeves. A MeiGray Group patch on the back inner hem is numbered H00154, and according to their population report, this garment was “worn in first home playoff game 4/13/11”, and it’s a “Red Set 2 Playoffs” example.
