Harkening back to a time before gentlemen wore wrist watches come’s this elegant Elgin pocket watch. 1 ¾” in diameter with a 15 jewel movement, this beautiful watch was presented to Werner H. Schnarr in 1923 as a member of the Kitchener Union Jacks, winners of the OHA Jr. championship. Details have been engraved on the watches back and they state in full “Presented by city of Kitchener to W.H. Schnarr OHA Jr. Champions 1923”. The inside of the watch case also has “Fortune Gold Filled AWC co.” In working order with a 20” chain and just light wear from a century of handling, the attached fob/medallion has an image of a hockey player with “1923”, and “OHA Junior Champions Kitchener W.H. Schnarr” as well as “10k”. Schnarr played in 26 games for the Boston Bruins over 2 seasons in the mid 1920’s.
