Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Some splendid blasts from the past are offered up here, with not hoards of collectors able to say they possess these goodies. Rather elusive over the years have been the WHA logo inserts that were in Series 3 packs of 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee cards, with not a crease visible in the complete set of 13. We do spot some subtle toning (brown) spots on five, but all backs are problem-free and there are no partially perforated logos to report. A pretty much like-new and ultra-interesting Oakland Seals scarf is an O-Pee-Chee premium and measures 40” in length. Pom-poms at the ends and two felt team crests contribute to the coolness. Completing the ensemble is an empty 1971-72 Topps wax box from the good old 10-cent pack days. Some scuffs on the (not perforated) top, a tear in the front panel and a couple of holes on the bottom are to be aware of.
