Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
The fourth highest drafted Canadian in MLB history, Brett Lawrie has also represented Canada internationally a number of times. This BWP “Pro Maple” bat was game-used by Lawrie during his rookie season in 2011. With pine tar on the handle and a heavily taped and completely covered knob, a V-shaped handle crack also appears just above the tape. “Brett Lawrie” is stamped on the upper barrel with “Model BWP – 320M”. Wear is noticeable in the form of a few ball marks and dings on the barrel of this 34 ½” gamer. Accompanying the bat are the perfect companion pieces with tickets from Lawrie's first hit, and his first home run! Both are full tickets, one from August 5th 2011 when Brett saw his first MLB hit, and the second is from August 7th 2011, when he blasted his first home run. Both are in gorgeous condition.
