Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Three signed and game-used sticks that saw plenty of action are available here, all from individuals who once donned the jersey of the legendary Montreal Canadiens. First we have a Koho Revolution model stick that was game-used by Saku Koivu in the 1990s. With the original black tape on the blade and gauze-style tape on the knob, “Koivu” is stamped on the upper shaft. Good game-use is present with lots of wear to the shaft, and Saku has placed a nice silver sharpie signature across the blade. The second stick available is a Sher-Wood S.O.P. model that was game-used by Jose Theodore circa 2000-01. With the original tape on the blade and knob, there’s also gauze-style tape on the handle, just above the paddle. Stamped “Theodore” on the upper shaft, game-use is present with a series of black marks on the taped blade, as well as a notch out of the paddle. The third stick offered in this lot is a Koho Revolution model that was game-used by Frederic Chabot circa 1997-98 while with the Kings. This stick was heavily used and it still has its original tape on the blade, paddle and shaft/knob. Stamped “F. Chabot” on the upper shaft, Frederic has also signed the paddle in black marker. As mentioned, there is a ton of game-use on this stick, including endless black puck marks.
