Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015

This rare circa 1967-68 (according to our consignor) Victoria O’Keefes game-worn jersey has quite a history. Worn during a successful time for the O’Keefes, they were both Pacific Coast Soccer League champs and John F. Kennedy Cup champs in 1967-68. The team even lost an extremely close friendly to famous English Premier League side Chelsea that same year. With tattered but intact Umbro “Made in England” tag in collar, an additional “OSM” tag is also in place and the back numbers and team name letters are in tackle twill and they exhibit slight puckering. There are no condition issues to note other than a tiny brown stain on the back “R” of “VICTORIA”, and some slight separation at the middle section where the V-neck meets. To locate another O’Keefes jersey from this era we feel would be next to impossible.
