The 1977 World Junior Curling Championship was held in Quebec City. This neat set of 1970’s Canadian curling garments include a full National Team blazer, pants and tie, as well as an Alberta Provincial Team jacket. The red Team Canada blazer, with Maple Leaf affixed over the left breast pocket, was made by Burtmar Clothes in Toronto, and the inner pocket has a tag with “Feb 6 1976” and “Glen Jackson”. The National Uniform pants have a tag in the waistband that notes that these pants were made for Glen Jackson and dated 6/2/76, and the navy blue tie was made by Forsyth. The Albertan Provincial Team jacket, in all its plaid splendor has a La Fleche Bros patch on the inside pocket, with an additional patch stating “Feb/75” and “G. Jackson”. All of these historic Canadian curling items are in excellent condition with just wear from former use.
