Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Known for his long flowing hair and flamboyant behaviour during his playing days, Ron Duguay finished his lengthy career with an impressive 620 points in 860 regular season NHL games. This CCM Detroit Red Wings jersey was game-worn by Duguay in 1985-86 while Detroit was celebrating their 60th season! With faded Maska Air-Knit tag, and born on date tag on collar stating “85 07", there’s additional CCM and Eastside embroidered crests on the back bottom hem. The important Red Wings 60th anniversary patch is embroidered onto the left shoulder, and the jersey shows good game-use with some black marks and board burns, mostly isolated to the sleeves, as well as some light fabric pulls on the back section below the still attached fight strap. With tackle twill name and numbers and classic Red Wings logo, this 60th anniversary garment is a true Motown treasure.
