Part of the one-two combo with Tretiak, Vladimir Myshkin was a member of the Soviet National Team that defeated Team Canada in the 1981 Canada Cup, the only time its namesake failed to win the tournament. This KOHO Russian National Team CCCP jersey was worn by Myshkin in circa 1983. With KOHO size tagging in the collar and tackle twill style letters, numbers and CCCP logo, this mesh garment shows light wear with some minor staining on the upper chest as well as some sweat marks on both armpits. The left sleeve’s cuff hem has also come unraveled.
During most tournaments, the USSR team only wore their white uniforms once or twice, therefore the lighter wear.
purchased from David Taylor in 1990s - consigner notes says wore in 1984 Canada Cup and Olympics
