Enjoying over a decade in the Majors shared amongst 6 different clubs, Wes Covington was an imposing hitter, and at one time, Milwaukee considered Covington an even better power prospect than Hank Aaron. This absolutely stunning ring was presented to Covington in 2002 as a special ambassador for the Edmonton Trappers of the Pacific Coast League. Large size 12 1/2 ring with an approx. weight of 44 grams, it is stamped on inner band "IGO" and "10K". One side of the band proclaims “Covington” and ‘Minnesota Twins” with the team logo, while the other has “Edmonton Trappers” and “2002”. A number of white stones surround the centralized Trappers logo, surrounded by “Pacific Coast League Champions”. In near perfect condition with no noticeable flaws, a fold-open wooden presentation box accompanies the ring, with a small gold inner plaque stating the team, year and recipient.
