Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015

Technically real low grade are the vast majority of these 1937-38 cards picturing Toronto and Montreal (Canadiens and Maroons) players, with dime or nickel-size glue stains affecting the upper backs of all except two. Paper loss is to note on a half dozen, however all text is still legible, with the cards otherwise mostly in the G-VG range and surely acceptable to some given their age and scarceness. Best is a VG+ example (no glue stains) of #175-Carl Voss RC, with the other stainless card, that of 143-Bill Thoms, at F with multiple lighter creases. The rest of the lineup is made up of 136-Davidson, 140-Boll, 144-N. Metz, 145-Kelly, 146-Armstrong RC, 147-Chamberlain RC, 148-D. Smith RC, 161-Beveridge, 162-Shields, 163-Wentworth, 164-Evans RC, 166-Northcott, 167-Runge, 170-Ward, 171-Gracie, 174-Buswell RC, 178-Goupille RC, 179-Shannon RC and 180-T. Cook RC.
