Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Terrific original vivid colors on an appealing crease-free 1958-59 Parkhurst card is a dandy way to lead-off this all-Jacques Plante lot. Easily EX, the well-centered example is joined by a similar crease-free (EX) Plante card from ’60-61, the latter with less-than-perfect centering. The same image appears on card #49 from Parkhurst’s ’61-62 issue, with light peripheral creasing rendering it VG. The goaltending great is pictured as a Ranger on his ’63-64 Topps card (VG+), while a trio of cards from the 1970s completes the group. They are ’71-72 O-Pee-Chee #195 (stained and F), and two OPC WHA cards; ’73-74 #64 (VG+) and ’75-76 #34 with a diamond cut and otherwise VG-EX.
