Awesome 1973-74 WHA All-Star Game white mesh “West All-Stars” game-worn jersey from the rebel league’s second midseason classic in St. Paul was worn by Los Angeles Sharks defenseman Gerry Odrowski. This beauty with a red knit collar from Odrowski’s personal collection is an otherwise all mesh affair with Gerry Cosby and size 50 tagging in the back of the neck. Surname letters are stitched directly on the back in blue twill and the number 5 on the back and both sleeves are sewn-on double twill, while all of the rest of the graphics, cresting, stars and stripes are heat screened vinyl that is wonderfully preserved with vibrant colors. Obviously light game use shows in a mark low on the left sleeve that also displays sweat stains at the cuff. Comes with Gerry Odrowski’s signed LOA.
There are some more faint sweat stains on the front. Red and blue marks on the jersey, including to the right of the number on the back, on the lower right sleeve and on the right front may be from the heat screened vinyl.
