Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Longtime collectors of pre-war Canadian non-sport issues will likely be excited with this opportunity. Mickey Mouse, that popular American cultural icon created by Walt Disney, made an appearance in Canada in the 1930s on cards produced by O-Pee-Chee, the fronts of which mirror a set of 96 Gum Inc. cards released in the U.S. Thirty-six different here include (11) crease-free EX examples, a half dozen at VG-EX, an even dozen in the VG neighborhood and seven multi-creased lesser lights. Card numbers, for the most part, are between 49 and 94. A third of the 15 duplicates make it to EX in our eyes. Yours will be marveling at the wonderful, colorful depictions of Mickey and friends when these thick sturdy specimens arrive in the mail.
